Great Hope in 2019

Great Hope motivates the ministry of CCLC. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. (Romans 8:24-25)

CCLC students come and go. Some receive the gospel and make professions of faith. Some renew their commitment to Christ. Some leave with doubts and even some with defiance. But we determine to Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. (Romans 12:12)

Faithfully we continue to teach the Bible “in season and out of season”.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4)

And we joyfully declare that Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)

As we embark on a brand new year we offer the prayer of Romans 15:13 for our students and supporters: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
